PRINT AND EDIT GUIDE

Your guide to make editing and printing your template a breeze.

Before you get started, set up your free Canva account to make this process quick and seamless!

After purchase, click the link delivered in your email.

  • A PDF will open—click the underlined text

  • Your Canva template will immediately open

yay! You’re canva template will open and automatically be imported to your canva account.

Time to make it all yours!

Depending on your template choice, there will be options for the back of your card

  • Decide which layout will fit your photo needs

now it’s time to let your photos shine!

  • Click uploads & upload your pics

  • Drag each photo over the block template to replace

  • To adjust the photo within the block, double click and move around until you like the composition

  • Double click any text boxes to update information (hand lettered sections not editable)

your photos are now in place and your template is customized!

Time to save & print!

  • Click the share button

  • If you are downloading to print elsewhere, simply download your design in JPEG, PNG, or PDF

  • To print in Canva (my recommendation) select ‘Print Your Design’

  • After you select ‘Print Your Design’ scroll until you see ‘Invitation’

  • Choose invitations landscape or portrait depending on your template orientation

Take your time here

  • There will be a dropdown menu to select the front and back of your card to print

  • MAKE SURE your selections are correct here

My personal recommendations for paper selections to ensure top quality

  • Premium paper

  • Uncoated finish—this will give you a true matte finish and texture with no shine

  • The Canva version of matte is still great quality, but it does have some sheen to it. If that’s your thing, go for it! It is still beautiful.

  • Do not forget to check the box to include envelopes

  • One last step. Almost there!

ONE LAST REVIEW BEFORE PRINT

  • This step in the process will show you a red border where the printer will cut the file

  • All designs have been formatted with this in mind—if you see any issues with your design please do not edit the file but reach out to me I will be more than happy to help.

  • Click continue and choose your shipping option, you’re done!

And just like that, you’re spreading Christmas cheer!
